Sustainability

At Sunnybank, we are committed to taking care of our planet and fostering these commitments as part of our teaching.

We take part in a range of learning throughout our curriculum that supports understanding of our natural world, through activities such as planting and growing, litter picking, caring for local wildlife and reducing our carbon footprint through a range of schemes such as recycling, reusing and careful consideration of resources used.

Each Nursery have appointed weekly ‘Planet Protectors’ who look after our environment, watering our crops and flowers, topping up bird feeds and bug hotels and creating materials to raise awareness of our mission on our dedicated display.
